Former Point Blank singer and composer (and, newly married!) Bubba Keith performs two of his original compositions and one of ours in this latest video. Bubba has worked with many really big-time acts including James Gang, and we’re really happy to have him sing and play guitar with us!

First Rush is a new version of an old classic. With origins still firmly rooted in their progressive rock history, the members of First Rush are made up of original “First Rush” members Mike Sauce – lead vocals and guitar, Rick Johansen – drums and backup vocals, and Mark Hicks – keyboards and backup vocals. Rounding out the quintet on guitar, keyboards and vocals is Steve Holbrook and Kirk Powers on bass guitar and backup vocals.
These fine musicians have been involved in the North Texas music scene since the early 1970’s. They have been players in these popular area bands: Saratoga (70’s), First Rush (70’s and 80’s), Double Ace (70’s to current), Stark Ravin’ (Polydor recording artists 70’s and early 80’s), Lynx (70’s and 80’s), The Joe City Band (80’s), Lo Della (70’s and 80’s), the infamous Inflatable Dates (80’s and 90’s), and Point Blank (2000′s).
First Rush continues to carry their skillful stylistic interpretations of their chosen classic rock genre into the new century with the release of their latest EP entitled “The Road Less Traveled” featuring a progressive, yet classic sound for all ages.
